Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AP RAW ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and the operator of AP RAW ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Access and Eligibility

The Service is currently invite-only and in early access. Access is granted at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to revoke access at any time without notice or liability. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Service.

3. Accounts

Account creation and authentication is managed through Clerk, a third-party identity provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access. You must notify us immediately if you suspect a breach.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful research purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

5. Intellectual Property

Our IP: All software, algorithms, multi-agent logic, user interface elements, visual design, documentation, and underlying architecture of the Service are the exclusive intellectual property of the Company and are protected by copyright, trade secret, and other applicable law. No rights are granted to you except the limited license to use the Service as described herein.

Your IP: You retain ownership of all research data, study content, and outputs you generate using the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses large language models and AI systems as part of its research workflow. AI-generated outputs (summaries, claims, syntheses, dispute outputs) are provided for research assistance only and do not constitute professional, legal, medical, or scientific advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying AI-generated outputs before relying on them.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with or relies on third-party providers including but not limited to: Clerk (authentication), Railway (infrastructure), Vercel (frontend hosting), and AI model providers. Your use of the Service is subject to those providers' applicable terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

8. Availability and Modifications

We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (IP, limitation of liability, governing law) will do so.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida. You waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue in such courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify active users of material changes via email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
